Lingerie fabrics.
Lingerie can be made of a great number of textures such as cotton, Lycra, lace, nylon, silk, satin, etc., and a combination thereof.
Cotton lingerie is soft and comfortable to wear. No other lingerie material is quite like cotton; it's reasonably priced, easy to care for. Because of its good moisture absorption qualities it feels good on skin. Cotton lingerie can be easily washed (even boiling water does not damage the fabric). Any good detergent or colour-safe bleach can be used. Cotton underwear doesn't scorch easily when ironing it.

Lycra is a man-made material which contains elastic and which is used to make tight-fitting lingerie. Lycra underwear is light-weight, tear resistant, and flexible.

Silk is a very delicate, smooth material that lasts long. It is one of the oldest textile fibers known to man.
Silk lingerie is valued for its versatility, comfort and beauty. Silk absorbs moisture, which makes lingerie cool in summer and warm in winter.

True satin is made from silk. It is a woven material with a glossy face and a smooth, soft slippery texture. Modern satin is generally made from synthetic fibers (acetate, rayon, nylon), as well as silk. Satin is not particularly durable. Satin lingerie is a delight to wear because of its wonderful shiny texture and enchanting look.
