Swimsuit
A swimsuit or a bathing suit is a tight-fitting piece of clothing that a woman wears when she goes swimming or sunbathing. Swimwear has changed almost beyond recognition over the years. A new generation of swimsuits is pretty as well as practical, unlike its forerunners - long dresses with weights sewed into the hems and gowns from shoulders to knees with a matching set of trousers and leggings. Today you can find swimsuits designed to keep maximum modesty or reveal as much of the body as possible leaving nothing for the imagination. At Serge Lingerie you can find One-Piece or Two-Piece swimsuits that are cute, fashionable, and comfortable but also inclusive of all body types. The designs are geared toward helping women find the right fit - bottoms and tops are sized like lingerie. But most important, these swimsuits are extremely sexy. If you are comfortable in what you are wearing, you'll be able to walk around the beach or a swimming pool with confidence, and that's the sexiest thing of all.
Choosing Swimwear
Finding a high-quality swimsuit is only half the work; make sure that your swimsuit fits you perfectly. It is very important to feel comfortable in your swimsuit so that you can relax and enjoy yourself on the beach or at the pool. Here are a few tips that should help to make the most suitable choice.
We recommend getting a swimsuit one size larger than everyday lingerie for ultimate comfort and flexibility.
Choosing the top and bottom sizes separately makes it possible to get the perfect fit.
Such skin-friendly fibres as polyester and Lycra will perform the best durability; improve the speed in the water and retain swimsuit's shape.
One-piece swimsuits that don't cut into the shoulders, don't creep and have pleasant, elastic fabric are perfect for women who are in for swimming.
Underwired tops work well for full-figured women.
A high-on-the-thigh cut and "V-type" neckline make you look much longer and emphasize your smaller waist.
Include a matching cover-up, pareo or skirt when not swimming.
Swimsuit Care
Swimwear is exposed to a great number of destructive elements: sand, sun, salt water, body oils or lotions, sweat. Here are some tips to extend the durability of your swimsuit.
We suggest cold or warm hand wash after each swimsuit wear with mild hand soup, and machine wash every 3-4 wears. Place your swimsuit in a washing bag and wash on the gentle cycle. Dry in the shade to keep the colour in the swimsuit as long as possible.
Do not bleach, iron, dry clean or tumble dry. Do not roll up in a wet towel or store wet. It is not recommended to wear a swimsuit in a sauna or spa. Excessive heat can make the fibre melt.
If you are wearing a swimsuit in chlorine once or twice a week we suggest to choose polyester swimsuits, not Lycra swimsuits.
Rough surfaces can damage the material. Put a towel underneath yourself.
With proper care your swimsuit will retain its shape, colour and lost long even after many wears.
